Jeannet helped us in the bidding process and were pleased with the value. The more challenging part came afterwards, we had a very short time to arrange all the steps to conclude the purchase. Jeannet efficiently streamlined the whole process and it was completed in around 4 weeks. She was very responsive to urgent contacts during this period and could guide us through all the steps.

Dit is me heel goed bevallen. Samen met Jeannet ging ik op pad wat een zeer prettige ervaring was. Jeannet keek alles na en zocht naderhand alles uit m.b.t. de woning, vve etc. en ik keek rustig rond ten tijde van de bezichtiging en liet de woning op me inwerken, Jeannet zei altijd; je moet wel vlinders in je buik voelen om er voor te gaan of, bij twijfel niet doen. Jeannet heeft ècht veel moeite voor me gedaan en uiteindelijk, na een paar keer achter het net gevist te hebben, heeft Jeannet het toch mogelijk gemaakt dat ik inmiddels mijn eigen stekkie heb! As a newcomer to the Netherlands, I found the process of finding an apartment - with viewings limited by lockdown rules to max 10 minutes and property prices going crazy - quite a challenge. I did eventually succeed - only because I had Jeannet's help and guidance. She knows her city, many of the selling agents, and the common flaws to look out for during a viewing. It was very interesting to hear about all the positive reviews for Jeannet, it seems that I was lucky enough to have found the perfect agent and I said truly because what a roller coster it was to find the right place for myself in this crazy market! First than all, let’s talk about the number of houses that we went to and I made an offer and even though that I pushed the house up to 10-20% the market value, I still got rejected. I wanted something specific - I wanted to have a big unobstructed, private rooftop for the sunny days in The Hague. This was really the challenge because I was not just looking for “an Appartement” but really for “THE apartment”. After a while, I started becoming less motivated - I had a deadline for myself that if I didn’t buy an appartement before the government places the transfer tax fee again (2%) for houses that are more than 400k, then I will take a break to buy a house when the market is less crazy. Jeannet hold me back when I was too enthusiastic about a house and she was really honest telling me that the house was overprice (there was one house that someone bought for 390k, incurred 100k of renovation costs, asking price was 599k and the person that “won” bought the price for 690k - this was a bit too much…) Then there were other houses that look great on pictures but not too great in person - I am very thankful that Jeannet was very honest and she pointed out the cheap fixes that sellers did to sell a house at a high price - there were times that the roofterraces were not plan of the floor plan and therefore illegal! Are you following? We are getting to the end of my house hunting journey. As mentioned before, I got really demotivated after outbidding in 5 different houses and not getting anything - frustrating! Jeannet showed me this penthouse that looked amazing but it was outside my budget so I told her that we could have a look but this was really outside my budget. Guess what? She negotiated the price of the house and got me a 25k discount which now I was able to afford. She got my dream home in one of the most exclusieve neighborhoods in Den Haag and I am very thankful for that. She was also very flexible visiting houses and she always got me one of the first house visits so that we could do an offer that exact day if I was interested. Once again, thank you Jeannet for everything. I 100% recommend her. I confirm the enthusiasm and good vibes.

My experience with Jeannet as my aankoopmakelaar was very positive. As a first time buyer she guided me through the process and made sure everything was in order before, during and after the buy. During the bidding process she ensured I secured the house I wanted and with her experience even managed to down-negotiate the price. The entire process was extremely smooth and stress-free. Jeannet herself is a very pleasant, responsive and pro-active person and was always available when I needed her. I warmly recommend her.

Jeannet was not able to provide any insight before the bidding deadline. And the only thing they would do is to find the most extreme bidding ratio provided in the same neighborhood, and convince you to follow the same ratio no matter whether the house you're looking for is under the same quality condition or not. Once you signed the sales contract, there is basically no way you can contact the sales unless they feel like to give you a response. The enthusiasm and the commitments only happen before you accepted the quote, and I think they use the same trick on many starters in the market, ex. my friend. The overall experience I had does not equivalent to the price they quoted to me at all. I would definitely not recommend this agent to anyone.

Hi Jasmine, What a complete surprise to read a review that contradicts my experiences in every way. I read it carefully and here are my comments: What exactly do you mean by 'insight'? If you have the impression that sales agents are informing buyers/purchase agents about the amount of all bids, then you are wrong, not to mention that this is illegal. What can happen is that you get a hint as to which direction the biddings are going. This was exactly the case with you. Furthermore, the real 'insight' is provided by me to you in the form of a report. This report contains, among other things, information about the selling prices in the area and also contains information about the estimated value of the home you have purchased. If you had read the report carefully you could have seen my rating, and how perfect it was, as the official bank rating matched that information. So your reasoning that I /we would only provide extremely high bidding ratio is incorrect. Do you follow? And then about your bidding process: I informed you about the estimated value, told you that there was a lot of interest and that it would take some equity capital to put on top of the mortgage (bank valuation) to become the buyer. I informed you that in this market there is often a gap between selling price and bank valuation. You said you understood. Your first offer was not accepted and then you decided yourself to outbid the first buyer which I did on your behalf, and this offer ensured that you became the owner. At the end you paid 310K. Your bank valuation was 295K, so 15K of your own equity went into the property, which you knew beforehand. So really, I don't understand your dissatisfaction. And to wrap up this epistle, you are saying that we can't be reached after signing the sales contract? Well, when I look back in app/mobile/email I see a lot of it, before and after signing, so I don't follow your position here either. Jasmine, without our services you would never have owned Charlotte de Bourbonstraat and I'm telling you this, in the time frame between buying last year and now you've already made a profit on your apartment, so really, what's your point? So Jasmine, do you want me to post your review or do you want to withdraw it after my clear explanation? It makes no difference to me. Your story is a false accusation to our company and me, with only loose ends, which mine is not.
